A Trust is a form of NGO (Non Government Organization) that is neither a part of a government nor a conventional for-profit business.

While the term “NGO” has various interpretations, it is generally accepted to include private organizations that operate without government control and that are non-profit and non-criminal. Other definitions further clarify NGOs as associations that are non-religious and non-military.

An NGO can be registered in form of Trust under Indian Trusts Act 1882.

A Trust can be registered with 2 or more members willing to start an NGO(2 or more family members can also start a Trust).

There shall be no personal interest of the members in any resources or property of the trust. The trust shall function only for the purpose of charitable or public welfare purpose.

Documents Required for Trust Registration

  • Passport size photographs of all Trustees
  • Voter Id/Adhaar/DL/Passport of all Trustees
  • Electricity bill of registered office of the company.
  • NOC of Registered Office

Trust Registration Process

2 Working DaysYou need to send us above mentioned documents. The first process will be to drafting of Trust Deed.
1 Working DayAfter the trust deed is drafted, we will apply for the appointment to the concerned E-Sub-Registrar of your area.
1 Working DayOn the date of appointment you have to appear in the office of E-Sub-Registrar with your original documents and 2 witnesses for the purpose of Trust Registration.
7 Working DaysYou will receive your registered Trust Deed within 7 days of your physical appearance in the office of E-Sub-Registrar.
